Females
The formation of a strong and
fertile female herd is the backbone of a successful stud herd. At
Wallawong we place a high degree of selection on females. Over the years
this has developed into a line of consistent, uniform breeders.
Wallawong Murray Grey Stud was established in April
1990 with the purchase of The Glen Alma 19th. Further females from
throughout Australia have since been added to the herd. These females
have been purchased for their correctness, milking ability, and
functionality. Females were selected from herds carrying the prefixes of Baroona, Willalooka, Furracabad, Glencairn, Highwood, Mt View, The Glen,
Walteela, Watermill, Woodbourn, Cobbora Springs and Springwell
