16 Steers Inducted for 2012 Sydney Royal - 20.12.2011 16 Wallawong bred steers were recently inducted as part of the Wallawong Steer Display at the 2012 Sydney Royal Easter Show. The steers representing 13 Wallawong bred sires have been provided by 9 clients. Steers will be prepared over the next 4 months and targeted at the Lightweight through to Middleweight section of the steer and carcase competition.

Wallawong Bulls In Demand in QLD - 9.7.2011 Wallawong bulls were in high demand at the AgGrow Superior Bull Sale, Emerald QLD. 4 of 4 bulls sold to top at $5,000 (twice) to average $4375.Thank you to all buyers and underbidders.
Wallawong Genetics Shine At Sydney - 19.4.2011 Wallawong genetics proved to be a dominant force at the recent Sydney Royal Steer and Carcase competition. The Optimum Steer - The Ideal Carcase Workshop Wallawong Murray Greys will be hosting the Optimum Steer / The Ideal Carcase workshop on Saturday 2nd April 10am-1pm, 'Marriot Park' Curlewis. Wallawong genetics supreme at Crookwell Show - 22.2.2011 Congratulations to Cadfor Murray Greys on exhibiting several exhibits, containing Wallawong genetics, at the recent Crookwell Show Commercial Cattle section. Dominant results including: 1st & 2nd MG Heifer (both out of Wallawong females), Supreme Champion Female (with calf at foot sired by Wallawong Rocket), Champion Commercial Group, and Champion Allbreeds Vealer (sired by Wallawong Rocket). Starbright genetics popular in WA - 10.2.2011 Congratulations to Bundaleer Murray Greys on selling the first Starbright S117 son in WA, $5,250. Also first calf from heifer, Wallawong Gale 6th, purchased at our 2008 sale, sold for $3,000, a good return on investment. Well done Sam and Cliff. Congratulations also to Monterey Murray Greys on selling a son of Starbright B123 to be the equal 2nd highest priced 2 yr old bull, for $8,500. Well done Gary and Julie.
