Demand strong for Wallawong genetics 13.7.2010 Wallawong genetics met with strong demand at the recent onproperty annual sale. Bulls sold to $5,500 (with three also making $5,000) to average $3643. Heifers (4 PTIC and 10 unjoined yearlings) sold to $4,000 to average $1850. Cattle sold to QLD and throughout NSW.

Wallawong Blood Steers Sell for $2.02/kg - 15.4.2010 Congratulations to Lyn Louis on selling 15 Wallawong blood weaner steers at the Gunnedah Special Weaner Sale for $2.02/kg, returning almost $600 straight off the cows.
Wallawong Steer 6th in Interbreed Class at RES - 12.4.2010 A steer by Wallawong Ripsnorter has finished 6th in the interbreed lightweight carcase class at the 2010 Sydney Royal Easter Show.
Wallawong to Relocate - 1.4.2010 From mid May 2010 Wallawong Murray Greys will relocate its main breeding herd to 'Marriot Park' Gunnedah. The move will place the herd in a more central location enabling better access to our clients. Marriot Park is located 15km south of Gunnedah NSW on the Kamilaroi Highway. Marriot Park will be the venue for our 2010 and future annual production sales.
Wallawong Maintains MN2 Status - 1.4.2010 Wallawong has maintained its MN2 Johnes status after its recent herd test produced all clear results. MN2 status allows Wallawong cattle entry into every cattle herd in Australia and gives buyers confidence when purchasing Wallawong genetics.

Impress
Wiltshire Crown Prince, purchased in early 2009, has continued to
impress with recent weight and scan data. Crown Prince weighed in at
900kg with an EMA of 128cm2 at 21 months of age.
